Biography
Evan concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation, general civil litigation, and creditor’s rights. He approaches litigation with “out of the box” strategies to create solutions for seemingly intractable problems. Evan has worked with a diverse spectrum of clients and matters, ranging from recovering the assets of a liquidated Health Maintenance Organization to enforcing minority shareholder rights in a closely held corporation. His creative approach to litigation has consistently brought his clients positive results.
From 2007 through 2010, Evan was named by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers magazine as a Rising Star in the area of Business Litigation.

Professional and Community Involvement
In July 2009, Evan lectured on the topic of “Developments in Pennsylvania Civil Procedure” at the 22nd Annual Civil Litigation Update Course provided by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Evan’s lecture allowed attorneys who attended to obtain continuing education credits needed to maintain their Pennsylvania license to practice law.
Pro Bono
Evan was recognized by the Legal Clinic for the Disabled, Inc. in April 2008 for his successful pro bono representation of a legally blind client wrongfully evicted from his residence, where Evan caused the landlord to withdraw its eviction complaint and pay the client thousands of dollars in damages.
